Kevin Maloney
Chairman
Kevin Maloney is the founder and Chairman of The MAC. He has had an extensive career in retail banking, finance and resources.
Kevin joined Elders Resources in 1981 after spending 20 years with the ANZ Bank. During his time at Elders Resources, Kevin held numerous positions including Chief Executive Officer of Elders Resources Finance Ltd.
Bringing a wealth of experience in the resources and finance industries, Kevin has been heavily involved in all stages of The MAC’s growth, including its move into mining services accommodation in 1996.
Kevin is currently a Director of two listed mining companies and has previously been involved with a number of public companies as an executive and a Director.
Mark Maloney
Chief Executive and Managing Director
B. Business (Hons)
Mark is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of The MAC. He has been a Director of the Group since its inception and is heavily involved in its development.
Previously, Mark was Chief Executive Officer of Tulla Group, the Maloney family's private holding company. There he was responsible for the Group’s businesses, which spanned a variety of industries including resources, transport, food, investment and property.
Mark also has 15 years experience in financial markets, having held senior management positions with J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs in London and Sydney.
Darce Corsie
Non-Executive Director
Darce is a Non-Executive Director of The MAC and chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and is a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Over the last 35 years Darce has held senior positions in services companies, the infrastructure sector, investment banking and construction. He was previously a Director of Deutsche Bank before joining Transfield Services Limited in 2000 where he played a lead role in the float of the company as CFO.
Darce is currently CEO of Infrastructure Investments with Transfield Service Limited. Darce is a Director of a number of private companies associated with investments and joint ventures of Transfield Services Limited.
John Taylor
Non-Executive Director
LLB
John is a Non-Executive Director of The MAC and is a member of the Audit and Risk Management Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
As a founding partner of Taylors Solicitors - Mackay, a Senior Counsellor of the Queensland Law Society and a member of the North Queensland Law Association, John has a strong legal background and an understanding of the Central Bowen Basin that greatly assist The MAC.
John does not hold any current public company directorships, however his previous appointments include former Board membership of Tourism Mackay and Mackay Regional Economic Development Bureau; and Non-Executive Directorship of Mackay Port Authority (Chairman).
Terry Strapp
Non-Executive Director
CPA, FFIN, MAICD
Terry Strapp is a Non-Executive Director of The MAC and a member of the Audit and Risk Management, Remuneration and Nomination Committees. Terry has extensive experience in mining, finance and corporate risk management, and has been actively involved in these industries in Western Australia for the last 30 years. He is currently Chairman and major shareholder of Oakvale Capital Limited, a leading specialist financial risk management business.
Andrew Maloney
Alternate Director for Kevin Maloney
Andrew is Alternate Director for Kevin Maloney and is Chief Development Officer of The MAC and has been with the Group for more than 7 years. He has accumulated extensive experience across a variety of senior management roles including development, project management, manufacturing and maintenance.
Andrew established the Development Division. Under his direction the Division has delivered a number of successful remote area accommodation developments.
Prior to joining The MAC, Andrew held numerous roles in both the development and construction industry. He holds a Bachelor of Building Construction Management (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney.
